# Height of Camera

The camera height should be correctly set in each recording.\
A wrong value can lead to all measurements being off.

The height of the camera should be measured from the center of the camera to the ground when mounted.

### Entering the Camera Height into the Setup.hsf

To add this height value into the recordings, follow these steps:

1. Open the Movie Player
2. Open any recording with the camera being at the measured height.
3. Open the 'Global Settings' menu.\

4. Set the '**Cam H'** value to the measured height in meters.
5. Save the change by going to "File -> Save View (\*.hsf)"\

6. The updated setup.hsf file can now be found in the recording directory.\
   Copy and overwrite the setup.hsf to any other recordings with the same camera height.

### Updating the Recording System with a new Setup.hsf

The recording system needs to be updated with the new setup, so that any new recordings will also have the altered camera height.

1. Copy the updated setup.hsf file to the Recording system: C:\horus\settings
2. Start the Data Grabber
3. Start the Recorder Builder
4. At the top right, connect to the backend\

   After connecting a list with components should appear on the left.
5. Open the pipeline.\
   Pipeline.hrp is stored in: C:\horus\pipeline\

6. Select the File Writer at the bottom left of the pipeline\
   In the list on the left, scroll all the way down till you find the properties of that component.
7. Click on the button next to 'Attachments'\

8. In the opened window, select setup on the left.\
   Then on the right define the path to the updated setup.hsf file in the C:\horus\Settings location\

9. Press Ok to close the window
10. Save the pipeline.\
    Overwrite the existing one in:  C:\horus\pipeline\

11. Shut down the system.

The recording system has been updated with the new setup.hsf.
