# Position Fixer

Updating the recordings with corrected positions

Following the steps from the previous chapter, you should now have an export file with the corrected positions from POSPac MMS.\
This data can now be used to update the raw positions of the recordings, this is done with the Horus Position Fixer.

## 1. Prerequisites

To proceed with the post-processing process, you must have the following data:

* Recordings in the Horus format
* Export file from POSPac

The export file should match with the recordings that were recorded during the Applanix log.

## 2. Updating the Positions

1.  Start the Horus Position Fixer.
2. Select the directory with the recordings.\
   This path can either be a specific recording folder, or the parent folder of multiple recording to process them together.
3. Select POS file(s)\
   Specify the location to the export file from POSPac.
4. Set the ‘algorithm’ to ‘EVT\_1’.
5. Click on ‘Start’ to update the positions.

When the process starts, the recordings will be updated with the corrected positions from POSPac. \
\
In the message field it will show for each recording how many frames of the total amount it was able to update.

If no positions are updated, verify if you have the correct log selected, or if the export file might have been exported in a different format.
